Dr Rowan Chanin, BSc, MSc, DC (mRCC)
Rowan has been a valued member of the clinic for nearly five years, where she is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. With a Master’s degree in Chiropractic from AECC University College in Bournemouth and a background in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire, Rowan brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to her practice.
Her clinical passion is women’s health and she is currently undergoing further training in this field. She also has a special interest in runners and running injuries. Rowan’s diverse experience includes working in a chiropractic clinic in Devon, as well as with a variety of athletes, from amateur to professional rugby teams, ultra-marathon runners, and track athletes. Her broad expertise allows her to offer personalised care that addresses the unique needs of each individual.
Rowan’s philosophy is simple: “We must look after our body, as it is the only place we have to live!” This motto guides her approach to helping people not only feel better but live better. She takes a holistic approach to treatment, looking at the body as a whole and not just focusing on isolated symptoms. Rowan incorporates a range of techniques into her practice, including diversified chiropractic, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), cranial therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, joint and muscle mobilisations, cupping, and kinesiology taping.
Patients find Rowan’s warm and friendly demeanor makes them feel instantly at ease during their appointments, creating a comfortable environment for healing and recovery.
Originally from the stunning north coast of Devon, Rowan moved to the area in 2020. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with running, rock climbing, surfing, and street dance.
