Busting for a massage?

  • 1st May 2019
Massage involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body, i.e. the muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and connective tissues, for a positive effect on the body.

Many benefits of massage therapy have been reported based on observation and experience. These benefits affect either the physiology or psychology and include:

  • Increased levels of relaxation
  • A decrease in muscle tension and pain
  • An increase in range of movement and flexibility
  • Improvement in scar tissues
  • Better post exercise recovery
  • Better sleep quantity and quality

Massage can be used in support of other therapies and to assist in rehabilitating muscular injuries.

We find that Chiropractic/ osteopathic treatment and massage therapy complement each other really well, as the former focuses on improving the skeletal framework of the body and the latter helps to restore muscular tension patterns.

You don’t have to see a Chiropractor/ Osteopath before seeing one of our massage therapists. If you would like to book yourself in for a massage, just give our friendly reception team a call.

Massage vouchers are also available in case you need to sort a birthday present asap!

Our massage therapists work from 8am to 7pm, and offer hourly appointments at £58.

Prepare to feel super relaxed and recentred after your massage!
